This here is the greatest love story
Glory to the Savior for the way He gave His blood for me
On the test of righteousness, God graded us poorly

Sin was in my nature since I was a crazy young Shorty
It’s apparent we needed a Savior, Mediator between God and man for our evil behavior
But God had a plan, man was it Divine
it was in His mind before the beginning of time
And this plan, it was more than crazy
The Lord would be born in the form of a baby
Just in order to save me and to save you
the love of the Lord is amazing
And when He came, He was thinking of me
and this is how I know that Jesus loves me

For the Bible tells me so

God looked at our lives and He saw they were not good
So God took it on to save us from ruin
So God put humanity on top of his Godhood
and God would come and be made as a human
People thought the coming King would bring danger
but the Savior was tucked away in a manger
And then shepherds from the east
followed the Star to worship Him
but he was sleep in heavenly peace
This great God that made the universe
Put on flesh and bone to relate to human hurt
I thank Him for His mercy and grace and for surfing through space
To earth to be placed in a virgin to save
His people, the ones God had given Him so giving Him my everything is really bare minimum
He came to earth for us and I think it’s lovely
This is how I know that Jesus loves me.

As my thoughts progressed, I had a major question moving in
Why would God save a wretched hooligan?
Why would He save pathetic, foolish men?
He paid the debt when I was doomed in sin

Now my faith is fresh and new in Him
